Hayley Cosgrove is an accomplished design leader with over a decade of experience in human-centred research, content strategy, systems thinking, and strategic communications. With a background in psychology and professional writing, Hayley is passionate about improving how people experience complex systems through inclusive, thoughtful design. 

Hayley leads multifaceted projects across health, justice, security, and cultural sectors—delivering impactful work at local, national, and international levels. Notable projects include shaping trauma-informed care models in the ACT, supporting public health strategies in Zambia, and researching digital identity ecosystems in Australia. 

Hayley is known for her ability to build trust with diverse communities and elevate voices often underrepresented in policy and service design—particularly children and people experiencing vulnerability. She draws on a wide range of research and design methods, from in-depth interviews and co-design to usability testing and content audits. 

A skilled communicator, Hayley specialises in translating complex and technical content into clear, accessible information. She has reimagined web content for government and NGOs, and led the creation of effective content strategies and authoring frameworks. 

She holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology and Criminology), a Graduate Diploma in Professional Writing (Editing), and is a certified Scrum Master.
