Kemiso Matlho is a strategic designer and facilitator with expertise in embedding organisational change and implementing social policy through inclusive, systems-focused design. She works at the intersection of research, facilitation, and strategy—helping governments, not-for-profits, and businesses navigate complexity and deliver equitable outcomes. Her experience spans sectors including health, social services, education, employment, biosecurity, transport, and the environment.

Kemiso is known for designing and facilitating trauma-informed, accessible experiences. She co-authored the Good Practice Guidelines for Engaging People with Disability, and consistently champions inclusive approaches that elevate diverse voices and lived experience. Whether designing services, strategies, or systems, she brings rigour and empathy to co-design—ensuring outcomes are understood, impactful, and grounded in real needs.

With a background in sociology and journalism, Kemiso has strong research, analytical, and communication skills. She excels at translating complex ideas into clear, meaningful stories that influence decision-making and inspire action. Her outputs often feature plain language, strong narrative structure, and human-centred visuals.

At ThinkPlaceX, Kemiso brings this approach to projects across federal and state government—helping shape future-ready systems in education, employment, health, and sustainability. She holds a Bachelor of Social and Economic Policy (majoring in Sociology and Journalism) and brings a clear, inclusive voice to every aspect of her work.
